Gregory J. Allen: President and founder of Visionary Adventure Inc. Gregory has his Bachelors of Arts Degree in Recreation and Leisure Studies with an emphasis in Adventure Education from S.U.N.Y. Cortland, and his Masters of Science in Physical Education from Hofstra University. He is also a New York State Licensed Mountain Guide for tier 1 rock and ice climbing as well as camping and backpacking. He has been facilitating, guiding, training, inspecting and building challenge courses for almost 20 years. Andrea M. Allen: Vice President of Visionary Adventure Inc. and a health educator in the Commack School District on Long Island. Andrea has her Bachelors of Science Degree from Hofstra University in Health Education, and her Masters of Science Degree from Hofstra as well, in Physical Education. Andrea has been facilitating and guiding for more than 6 years now, and can't wait to design and implement a program for you or your child. John P. Donofrio: Adventure Specialist. John, born on Long Island New York has his Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Adelphi University, and has attended Stony Brook University, studying the field of social work through their graduate program. John is also training for his private pilots license at the Academy of Aviation. John has over 5 years of experience in the field of adventure education working as a manager, builder and facilitator with Visionary Adventure Inc. His passion is for helping people realize their full potential and gaining a higher awareness about themselves, others and the world in which they live in. John's Quote: "We are what we think. Joshua P. Kaye: Adventure specialist. Joshua, born in San Jose' California has his Liberal Arts Degree from Nassau Community College, and has attended Hofstra University, exploring the field of physical education through their undergraduate program. Joshua, (A.K.A. Chai) has many years experience in the field of adventure education including, 2 years as a teachers assistant at Nassau Community College in the Adventure Activities class, 2 years as Director of Adventure Education for West Hills Day Camp and 3 years as a staff member with Visionary Adventure Inc. His passion is motivating students to explore outside their comfort zone, helping them realize and reach their true potential. Robert F. Kenific: Adventure specialist. Rob adds a versatile element to Visionary Adventure. He has management experience in marketing, sales, landscaping and has been a carpenter for over 15 years. Rob realized at an early age that hiking and camping in the mountains gave him a sense of peace and self introspection as well as provided huge challenges to overcome. This eventually led him to rock climbing which had an even deeper impact on his life. In an effort to help foster this awareness and potential for others he spent a year as a wilderness guide in Utah and has been building, inspecting, training and facilitating in the challenge course industry for over 4 years with Visionary Adventure Inc. Rob's goals, to help foster and facilitate attention to energy, self introspection and growth through experiential learning.
